NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING OF REZONING
CITY OF NEW FAIRVIEW, TEXAS
Notice is hereby given that a joint public hearing will be held by the Planning and Zoning Commission
and City Council of the City of New Fairview, Texas on the 18th day of July, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. in the City
Hall located at 999 Illinois Lane, New Fairview, Texas, 76078 where all interested persons will have the
right to appear and be heard on the proposed rezoning by the City of New Fairview, Texas. The zoning
public hearing is in compliance with Sections 211.006 and 211.007 of the Texas Local Government Code
to receive input regarding a proposed change from “A” Agricultural and “PD” Planned Development to
“PD” Planned Development for Single Family Residential on approximately 195.342 acres located in the
James C. Jack Survey, Abstract No. 679, Denton County, Texas located generally east of S. County Line
Road and south of Dove Hollow Lane. The “PD” zoning request is for single family detached residential
lots with a minimum lot area of one half (1/2) acre.
